When I think Tavern, I think typical bar food (which I personally have always found to be super yummy). Well, this first-time experience at Park Tavern blew our collective families' minds!!! First, when you walk in, it has the look and feel of fine dining. The service (we were blessed and fortunate to be taken care of by Kat!!) was first class and worthy of any fine dining experience I have ever had. Lastly, the food was awesome and tasty, prepared perfectly as requested and delivered hot!!! I will also add that the prices could have been fine dining, but instead, it was very reasonable. Thank you Kat!!!
When my wife and I are in the Severna Park area. We always enjoy stopping in Park Tavern for some drinks and eats. The last few times we've been at The bar , are server has been Darron who not only is a great mixologist , he is also very easy to speak with, he makes you feel like your a regular!
Early V-Day dinner out at our favorite hangout! Food here is amazing but totally does not hold a candle to the amazing people working here. This is hands down the best restaurant in the area and makes you feel good about returning over and over lol. They feature monthly specials for the food and the drinks that make it so you need to visit just to be able to try out all of the new items!
We’ve enjoyed Park Tavern in the past, but last night was a letdown. The hostess was fantastic and got us outdoor seating, but from there, things went south. Our cocktails were mostly ice, and the Mediterranean chicken salad was dry and bland. Worse, the tuna in the tuna poke bowl was still frozen. They replaced it with a beef bulgogi bowl, we were told it would be comped, but we were still charged for the replacement. To add to the frustration, they got our second drink order wrong and the water barely checked in. In the end, for a $100 bill, the experience and quality fell well short. We expected better. This place is good for fried food but anything else is not worth the price and disappointment. (UPDATE) George personally reached out after my review, took the feedback seriously, and made a genuine effort to make things right. He sent us a gift card and invited us back, which we really appreciated. We returned this past weekend, and the experience was completely different in the best way. Our server, Taylor, was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was correct throughout the night. We ordered a bottle of wine and both tried the roasted chicken sandwich, which was excellent! It’s clear that management cares about customer experience and is willing to take action when things don’t go as expected. That level of accountability goes a long way. We’ll definitely be back!
So far, we have visited Park Tavern on three separate occasions: brunch, lunch, and dinner. Brunch offered a variety of options but the taste was just okay. Lunch was by far the best. Flatbread and salad for the win Burger cooked just right with crispy battered fries. Spinach artichoke dip is out of this world!! Hefty portion so you'll need to ask for extra chips! Dinner was fried chicken on the Mac and cheese and the chicken was well overdone. Nice atmosphere, tables and booths. Parking is free and right there. Easy to enter the shopping center using the light intersection.
Park Tavern is a perfect spot for any occasion. Consistently delicious food and drinks, excellent seating variety both indoor and outdoor, kind and quick service, and very convenient for parking. Their Kavern Egg Custard beverage is top tier combining local flavors of excellence - and the espresso martini is never done wrong. Fantastic option for brunch also. All food is fantastic, the Brussels Sprouts and Thai Shrimp are must have starters. Have been many times and look forward to many more visits ahead!
I had fish and chips and it was excellent! They have a great selection of beers and I enjoyed a perfectly made Old Fashion with one of the best whiskeys, Jefferson Ocean Aged at Sea. Service was spectacular and everything was fairly priced. You will not need disappointed.
I had an amazing brunch experience at Park Tavern. We made a reservation for Saturday morning and went to enjoy their brunch. The atmosphere, service and food were all amazing. I enjoyed the options at the Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar. I will definitely return to try more options for food and drinks.
We had a great experience at Park Tavern! The food was delicious, the service was great , and drinks were so fresh. The mango crush was perfection ! Shout out to Ernesto who took a lot time going over the menu, sharing his recommendations and favorites !
It was surprisingly good. Those deviled eggs were very good and the burgers were amazing. My husband ordered the onion soup which I was against but it was really good and tasty.
